Who this notice covers
This notice explains how BAR X BAR handles information submitted through this website for general enquiries, stock notifications, preorders and online merchandise orders. When checkout is active, the legal seller and ABN are identified in the sales terms.
Information we collect
Depending on the feature used, this may include name, email, phone number, preferred shop, enquiry text, selected products, sizes and colours, order value, fulfilment method, delivery details supplied through a payment provider, payment order and transaction references, and consent or terms versions and timestamps. Do not submit payment card details, health details or other sensitive information in a BAR X BAR form.
Why we use it
We use information to answer enquiries, manage stock interest and preorders, process and fulfil purchases, send service messages, prevent fraud and duplicate orders, resolve problems, keep accounting and transaction records, and comply with law. We do not use enquiry or order details for unrelated marketing unless separate permission is obtained.
Website analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how people find and use this website and whether they continue to BAR X BAR booking pages on Fresha. Google Analytics may use cookies and collect device, browser, approximate location, page-view and interaction information. BAR X BAR does not intentionally send names, email addresses, phone numbers, payment details or enquiry text to Google Analytics.
Payment providers and service providers
Google Analytics, Fresha, Stripe and PayPal may collect information directly under their own privacy terms when their services are used. BAR X BAR also uses hosting, database, email, delivery and professional service providers where reasonably necessary to operate the website and fulfil orders. We disclose only what is reasonably needed for those purposes or where required by law.
Storage, security and retention
We take reasonable steps to protect information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. No internet system is risk-free. We retain records only for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose collected, customer support, fraud prevention, accounting and legal obligations, then delete or de-identify them where appropriate.
